Jonathan’s traditional skills still serve him well, providing high quality fresh food to people in his community, Jonathan is also recognised for creating jobs and employing local people. The majority of his staff is employed from school age and some remain with him into their adult life. Over the years Jonathan has employed hundreds of young people and the same amount of adults contributing employability skills within the community. Over the years Jonathan has introduced modern touches in the business, but remains a traditional fish and chip business.
Jonathans staff are paramount in the running of the business and pride themselves in serving customers with friendliness and cheerful attitudes, which builds on customer relationships, embedding customer care and loyal continued support.
Over the last few years Jonathan and his staff have also branched out and have provided catering needs at weddings including his own wedding, funerals, parties and charity nights. The customers of each individual function have expressed gratitude and praise for the effort of staff and quality of the meals provided. " the fish and chips where amazing it made our wedding so special, everyone was so happy and satisfied with everything it made our day” a statement from a happy groom. Moving forward in this unpredictable time in our lives we are trying to make it as easy and as safe for customers to return to our business to be able to enjoy our fish and chips. We are introducing a new website which will incorporate information on how to use our new click and collect service, which means less waiting times, the shop has been fitted out with screens for the protection of both you the customer and staff. This website provides menu’s, costs and payment methods and opening times. The shop will have a procedure which we recommend customers to follow as to keep themselves and others safe.
